Dogs Today Magazine
Here River had the chance to be on the cover of Dogs Today Magazine. She behaved beautifully and posed perfectly in the Penelope Malby's photography studio. She featured on the January 2020 issue. She was shown throughout stores in the UK.
Dogs Today is an English magazine. Founded in 1990. You can purchase both monthly subscriptions or single copies. It contains useful information and advice regarding dogs and their well being. It can also be found in most WHSmiths.
The Artful Dog Studio
Here River won 1st place in Prettiest Bitch at a local dog show. Her prize was this photoshoot at The Artful Dog Studio.
I feel like these photographs complement her eyes and colours. As well as, showing the nice side of her character. They capture the beauty within her gaze and the love she has in her eyes.
Paws and Claws Photography
River was photographed by Olly, who is a pet photographer based near Emsworth. He mentioned that she was well behaved throughout our session. River posed on a raised surface, she was comfortable getting on and off when she was getting into position. Olly was kind and we felt welcomed in his studio.
Puppy Post Magazine
Puppy Post Magazine is a new pet based magazine. It focuses on helping the animal community by promoting small businesses and companies. As well as, giving great advice through real stories. River had the chance to feature in their March/April 2020 second issue. She was given a full whole page (the image was taken by my self). They are a lovely and kind community that are willing to help others. I am glad that we was able to be part of this magazine. Both me and River also featured in their third issue April/May 2020.
River gets a lot of experience in front of the camera. As a photographer I love to create experiments and use her as my little model. River took part in my recent Photography Project 2020 which I unfortunately couldn't finish because of the Coronavirus. This was supposed to be for my University degree. Rather than photographing a range of different dogs (what I was planning on doing), I decided to concentrate on River.
Photography Student Workshop
Here are some outcomes of River, as she took part in a photography workshop. 2021 First Year Photography Degree students had the opportunity to work with River in a professional manor within a photographic studio. In order to progress and develop their employability skills and professional practice. Students were asked to treat us as clients and create a realistic environment to work in which they would react and problem solve as if they were working in a real life industry situation. As well as, provide students an introduction to the pet/dog photography industry.
