Nar Valley Cottages Norfolk
We stayed in the Cart Lodge which had a stunning wood burning stove that we could utilise. Making the nights cozy and warm. With three double rooms (sleeping up to 6 people). This would make it perfect for a family or a group of friends. It is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, cookware, washer/dryer, smart TVs, WiFi, parking, towels and robes, tea towels and cleaning supplies. Making it a relaxing and de-stressing stay. As well as, being able to book spa treatments over the road at Energise Pentney, with complimentary access to their gym, indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room and heated outdoor vitality pool.
This dog friendly lodge consisted of a large front communal garden, which River loved running around in and chasing her favourite squeaky ball.
Overall, it was an amazing, relaxing stay. River was knackered and enjoyed resting in the evening, after long days of adventuring and playing. She was well behaved which made the trip so much more enjoyable.
We went to English Heritage‘s Castle Acre Priory, which was a dog friendly sight (and was about a 10-15 minutes drive away). River was allowed to explore the grounds with us.
This Priory Castle is a beautiful piece of English history dating back from the 1090s. You can see remains of some amazing architecture and structures.
